Previous to joining eDataSource's executive team, Carter founded TripConnect, a travel oriented social network, where he was Founder and CEO. Prior to TripConnect, Nicholas held executive positions at CheckM8, DoubleClick and Adone Classified Network. At CheckM8 Nicholas was responsible for leading the company's entrance into the US market, and at DoubleClick he managed the P&L and business operations in Southern Europe, Canada and Latin America, growing revenues from $3 to $18 million over a three year period. Carter holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University. |
![]() G.B. Heidarsson, Chief Operating Officer | Mr. Heidarsson brings more than 15 years of executive management and digital marketing experience to his role at eDataSource. In addition to leading the company's sales and marketing efforts, Heidarsson is responsible for product development, engineering and operations planning, and product and service strategies aimed at helping businesses advance their digital marketing and e-commerce strategies.
Before coming to eDataSource, Heidarsson was group director of e-Dialog's New York/Mid-Atlantic region, where he managed the account service, technical service and production teams responsible for email marketing strategy and execution for some of the world's most recognized brands, including Bed, Bath & Beyond, Washington Post, Trump Entertainment and Publisher's Clearing House. Previously, he was director of internet marketing for CBS College Sports where his marketing programs helped increase paid subscriptions by 100 percent in six months. Prior to that role, Heidarsson directed internet marketing for Bookspan/Bertelsmann Direct Group (now Direct Brands), While at Bertelsmann, Heidarsson orchestrated an interactive communication strategy that helped increase revenue from email by more than 700 percent in three years. Heidarsson also held director-level positions with Iceland Tours and the Northern Iceland Regional Office of Tourism, where he made a direct impact on driving increased revenue. |
Chris Adams, VP of Engineering | Mr. Adams is an accomplished technologist who brings more than 14 years experience in software and systems design, software architecture, and team management to his role at eDataSource. Adams has a proven track record in leveraging an agile work environment to produce rock-solid software, on budget and on time.
Prior to joining EDS, Adams was the lead web engineer on the Symantec/MessageLab’s web portal, where his leadership and architectural designs became the backbone of MessageLabs’ web-based international marketing strategy. The multilingual CMS system services tens of thousands of users a month and is still used as the core CMS for Symantec Cloud. Previously, he was the project lead with Harris Corporation where his team management, dedication to excellence and technology skills were instrumental in the awarding of the multi-year, multi-million dollar contract. Adams also has in-depth experience working with big-data, having worked with JPL, the European Space Agency, and NOAA on mission critical and data intensive satellite ground and weather related systems. |
