OUR HISTORY

2003

eDataSource was founded in 2003 as the first and only email competitive intelligence company using real, live consumer panel data allowing email marketers to view and assess performance of competitor emails. The visibility and insight provided by this intelligence would fundamentally change how email marketers, publishers and service providers compete in the inbox.

Panel data testing starts within the eDataSource platform interface to increase the value of competitive insights.

Inbox Tracker, Cloudmark® Edition is released, supercharging the tool with live consumer feedback from one of the largest global networks in the world. By the end of 2017, Boxbe, our user email panel, surpasses 3 million active consumer inboxes.

Reputation Advisor launches, the first fully automated tool to check over 100 variables affecting deliverability in 5 categories.

APRIL 2018

eDataSource launches the first-ever consumer inbox monitoring for a total of 43 global ISP’s. In addition to the “big 4” domains already tracked (Gmail/Outlook/Yahoo/AOL), the 39 recently added ISP’s include important operators like Comcast, Mail.com, Optimum Online, Charter.net and Spectrum/Time-Warner Cable. There are no other players in the email tracking space offering anything like the combination of data-depth and breadth of ISP representation that eDataSource now provides.
