An email marketing expert, G.B. brings more than twenty years of experience in executive management and digital marketing to his role as eDataSource’s Chief Executive Officer. In addition to directing product and service strategies aimed at helping businesses advance their digital marketing and ecommerce strategies, in his previous position as managing director, G.B. was also responsible for product development, engineering and operations planning for eDataSource.
Prior to eDataSource, G.B. was group director of e-Dialog’s New York/Mid-Atlantic region, managing account services, technical services and production teams responsible for email marketing strategy and execution for some of the world’s most recognized brands, including Bed, Bath & Beyond, The Washington Post, Trump Entertainment and Publisher’s Clearing House.
Previously, G.B. was director of internet marketing for CBS College Sports where his marketing programs helped increase paid subscriptions by 100 percent in six months. He has also directed internet marketing for Bookspan/Bertelsmann Direct Group (now Direct Brands), While there, G.B. orchestrated an interactive communication strategy that helped increase revenue from email by more than 700 percent in three years. Mr. Heidarsson also held director-level positions with Iceland Tours and the Northern Iceland Regional Office of Tourism, where he made a direct impact on increasing revenue.
Chris has an accomplished history with technology and brings more than fifteen years of experience in software and systems design, software architecture, and team management to his role at eDataSource. He has a proven track record of leveraging an agile work environment to produce rock-solid software, on budget and on time.
Prior to joining eDataSource as Chief Technology Officer, Chris was the lead web engineer on the Symantec/MessageLab’s web portal, where his leadership and architectural designs became the backbone of MessageLabs’ web-based international marketing strategy. This multilingual Content Management System (CMS) services tens of thousands of users a month and is still used as the core CMS for Symantec Cloud.
Previously, Chris was the project lead with Harris Corporation where his team management, dedication to excellence and technology skills were instrumental in the awarding of a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract. He also has in-depth experience working with big data, having worked with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the European Space Agency, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on mission-critical and data intensive satellite ground and weather related systems.
Arthur has been Chief Marketing Officer for eDataSource since October 2014, managing the company’s marketing initiatives, thought leadership, and strategy and analytics. He has a track record of scaling multi-million dollar digital marketing companies, and has built smart, innovative marketing teams to successfully win, grow and support new client engagements.
Arthur began his marketing career on the client side, as Advertising Manager for two years with the iconic brand, Converse. He then moved to the agency side, where he supported major brands at Oglivy & Mather, Cabot Advertising, Hill Holiday, and Gearon Hoffman. He later served for over four years as the Senior Vice President of Marketing for S&H Greenpoints.
More recently, Arthur spent almost seven years as Chief Marketing Officer with email service provider, e-Dialog, Inc., until that company was acquired by GSI Commerce (now eBay Enterprise). He later served as Chief Marketing Officer at 89 Degrees, and then for in a similar role at Evergage.
Arthur has a published the book Successful Email Strategies: From Hunting to Farming. He has also won public recognition and awards for his work, including 50 on Fire (Boston), Red Herring Top 100, and the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council.
Gabe has been Chief Financial Officer for over nine years, providing board members, internal team and clients with timely, detailed and customized financial reports. He has managed many challenges and developed many new systems and tools that benefit our clients and our internal accounting team. Highly proactive in emphasizing the importance of sales growth for moving forward, Gabe’s work has helped tremendously with the success of eDataSource.
Previously, Gabe worked for nine years as a Controller for Stevens-Knox and Associates, and for over four years as a Controller for List Technology Systems Group. Including eDataSource, he currently also provides financial management for several other companies, including fourteen years as a Controller for Dental Recycling North America, Inc., more thaneight years as Financial Controller for Songza, and eight years as the VP of Finance for Mazzone Marketing Group.
Tony comes to eDataSource with deep email marketing and deliverability technology experience gained from working with large senders in social media, communications and eCommerce. His mission at eDataSource is to help our clients resolve deliverability issues and improve campaign performance via Inbox Tracker and our related delivery services. He will perform this mission by developing a team of specialists and analysts — experts who will support, educate and guide clients — as well as assisting with eDataSource product development and participating in industry organizations.
Prior to eDataSource, Tony served as senior director of deliverability and data privacy compliance for MeetMe (NASDAQ: MEET), leading the company’s email deliverability technical infrastructure enhancements and international email and privacy compliance initiatives. With extensive international and cross-platform experience, he rebuilt an in-house email generation and delivery platform that created more than 250 million messages monthly for the global social network. Tony also had direct involvement in developing targeted messaging programs for both B2C and B2B brands, previously serving as global email deliverability operations manager for Premier Global Services, Inc., as well as holding email technology positions with True.com and Travelocity.
Tony is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and has established and managed corporate memberships in key trade associations, including the Messaging, Malware and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG), Email Experience Council (EEC), Authentication and Online Trust Alliance (AOTA), and Email Sender & Provider Coalition (ESPC).
Dave is an experienced professional with more than twenty years of experience in software system design, system integration, software tools and software team management. He excels at building the right teams to get the job done.
Prior to eDataSource, Dave worked at Harris Corporation for fifteen years specializing in Air Force, Army and Federal Aviation Administration weather applications. He led several successful software teams and was the Air Force Weather Harris Lead at Offutt AFB.
Dave proudly served in the United States Air Force for 14 years. During his career he developed and maintain weather, missile warning and air defense applications. In addition, he spent several years maintaining avionics on the A-10 Thunderbolt II close air support aircraft.
John has thirty years of experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management development, deployment and application. Before joining eDataSource, John spent ten years with the email unit (formerly e-Dialog, Inc.) of eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions, and most recently as Client Partner in the Analytics group. Prior to that, John spent ten years with Harte-Hanks, Inc., finishing as Vice President, Strategy and Analysis, for Harte-Hanks CRM Analytics.
John’s background also includes twelve years in various corporate staff positions at Federated Department Stores, Inc. (now Macy’s. Inc.). Named Director of Advertising Analysis in 1985, he initiated and ran the project which created Federated’s first integrated customer database marketing system. After he left Federated in 1988, John owned and operated a retail marketing database consultancy.
Since 2005, John has been on the Marketing Faculty of Bentley University (Waltham, MA). He holds a B.A. from Miami University (Ohio) and an M.B.A. from The Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
Rose is an experienced sales leader who has had great success in hiring, growing and developing sales teams. Her strong background in coaching and developing individual team members to exceed expectations and achieve the President’s Club has contributed to growing successful companies throughout her career.
Rose began her sales experience at Hewlett-Packard in the late 80s and she consistently performed as a top producer throughout her career there. Her experience in digital marketing began in the role of director of sales for Integrant Corporation where she made strong contributions to helping the company exceed growth revenue goals year-over-year. Rose then moved to director of sales at eHelp corporation which was acquired by Macromedia, and lead her entire sales team to the President’s Club even after a downturn in the industry.
As the director of sales & recruiting at AMN, Rose was one of fifteen directors. Her team of ten achieved the greatest margins while exceeding revenue quotas. She was declared a finalist for the Women Who Mean Business Awards for creating the “High Tech Referral Network of San Diego”, which developed strategic alliances within a prospective customer base. Revenues increased from 17 to 52 percent for the members of the network by maintaining a quarterly seminar program of industry speakers for lead generation.
Jean brings more than 20 years of experience developing and executing strategic marketing communications programs that target business executives, marketers, engineers and consumers through successful media and analyst relations, social media initiatives and corporate marketing strategies. With a track record of raising the profile of the clients she works with, Ms. Borgman has driven lead generation and recognition opportunities for public and private companies worldwide.
An independent practitioner since 2004, Jean worked extensively with digital marketing technology and service providers, including several years with email marketing vendors e-Dialog, Epsilon, Bronto and Zeta Interactive, as well as with Evergage, MyBuys and Liveclicker. Previously she enjoyed working with PR agencies, including Marenghi Public Relations, Golin|Harris Technologies and Miller Communications, on client accounts in the wireless/telecom, enterprise and home computing spaces. She also brings experience working in-house as part of sales and marketing teams at Data Translation and VideoLogic.
Jean holds a B.A. in Psychology from Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, IL.
With eleven years of experience at eDataSource, Alyssa assists all clients, making sure that they get the most from the company’s solutions, and developing lasting relationships with end-users at all levels. She is also responsible for training new clients, maintaining licenses, creating contracts and securing renewals. In addition, Alyssa works with eDataSource’s Strategy & Analytics team to ensure timely and targeted customized reports that further help clients grow their businesses. She has received many accolades for her talents and skills in the role of customer service manager.
Previously with SRBI, Alyssa managed and ran multi-million dollar projects, working directly with clients to address and fix any issues. She also brings seventeen years of dance experience, and has received numerous awards, been an instructor and manager to a nationally competitive dance team.
Alyssa attended Brookdale Community College.
Brandon Glesmann has more than a decade of development and program management experience within software systems and technology-related fields. He excels at ensuring that projects are delivered correctly, on-time and under the highest data quality standards.
Prior to joining eDataSource, Brandon worked at Harris Corporation as a Software Integration and Test lead, specializing in the software integration and testing for mission-critical systems within the Air Force, Army and Naval weather systems.
Brandon has extensive experience working with big data and the complexities surrounding the storage and management systems with that data.
Brandon is the senior project manager for eDataSource’s eCommerce project, which collects, parsers and provides business intelligence from live consumer eCommerce purchases.
